Hero introduction: The Alchemist is a difficult foe to handle, but if left to his own devices he can amass enormous amounts of gold at an alarming rate. His Acid Spray covers a large area with toxic chemicals, which deal physical damage and reduce the armor of any foe caught in the cloud. Attempting to fight the Alchemist while in an acid cloud is foolhardy at best, especially if he uses his Chemical Rage transformation skill. Chemical Rage drastically increases the life, regeneration, and attack speed of the Alchemist, transforming him into a deadly fighter. Possibly his most dangerous skill, however, is Unstable Concoction. Although it takes some time to charge, Unstable Concoction results in one of the longest stuns in the game and causes a good deal of damage. Although the Alchemist can be annoying to fight, it's best to keep a close eye on him. Goblin's Greed directly increases the amount of gold the Alchemist gains when killing creeps, and as he kills more the bonus increases. Unless kept in check, this Goblin/Ogre combo can cause a lot of mayhem late in the game.

Background story: Having enlisted under the ranks of the Sentinel for mere personal gain, the Alchemist's quest for amassing wealth to fund his research is a tireless and relentless one. Both sadistic and cruel in his methods, this heartless Goblin cares not what means he must resort to for a sizable bounty. Whether he chooses to paralyze his foes with toxic concoctions or drench them in corrosive acids, Razzil Darkbrew remains steadfast in his calm, calculated approach, despite their constant wails of agony.

Hello this guide is for the alchemist and this will show you how to play alchemist as a TROLL or as a permabasher. He is easily underestimated but when he casts Chemical rage they will surely regret ever thinking those kind of things. This guide will show pros and cons; skill builds; item builds; best allies and worst enemies; and the last word of the author and that is me :D

Pros:

*has lowest BAT of 1.20 in chemical rage (meaning he is very fast if not the fastest hitter in all of DotA with the right items

*One of the fastest farmer in the game

*Almost unkillable in rage form

*Can dodge stuns easily because od rage's transformation

*has a stun that lasts for 4 seconds

*He is very versatile and can adapt quickly in the game

*good lane controller and tri-laner

*good attack animation (good last hitter)

Cons:

*has an armor of 0.6

*fragile if not in rage form

*bad agility and agility gain

*rage dependent. Item dependent when being a semi-carry

*one of the worst stat gain in the game

*Dodging stuns takes time and practice for newbies

this bastard doesn't care how much your hp is, he only needs to see your hp in half and your DEAD.

If this guy sees you channeling unstable concoction he is just gonna use nightmare and laugh at you while you are stunning yourself. And he can negate your carry ability with his enfeeble. And did I not mention he has a 5 second disable called fiend's grip?

this guy still deserves a special mention, when he casts wall of replica on you. Your gonna have a mountain of trouble killing yourself everytime you pass the wall. He is kinda annoying because when you are channeling unstable he is just gonna use vacuum and you will just hurt yourself.

This guide only shows how alche can be effective with these kinds of situations. And you might be wondering that "I thought this was an alchemist warlord guide to permabash noobs" well it is but I just added some extra info for those who are more curious on other ways to play alche. This guide should not be followed word by word because builds are just like water they are fluid, so it depends on the situation whether what to do.
